What is Integrative Medicine?

Integrative Medicine is the marriage of traditional medicine with a holistic approach. It embraces the perspective of treating the body as a whole, while using evidence-based modalities.

Her Approach

The integrative approach is for anyone who has ever been told “everything looks fine,” when they don’t feel fine. For anyone who has felt frustrated with the lack of explanation, education, and solutions they need to resolve their health problems. This is for you if you know there must be a better, smarter way to rebuild your health and you are looking for a personalized approach so you and your family can create extraordinary health and live an extraordinary life.

Welcome . Dr. Tao’s practice is focused on partnering with patients to investigate, identify, and resolve the root causes of your health concerns. Doing so includes providing you with the education and supporting your needs to learn sustainable health strategies and skills.

She begins by listening to understand your story. Your experience combined with your health history and discussion of major life events helps us identify the causes of your health concerns.

In addition, she uses functional lab testing to identify root causes at a cellular level to eliminate blind spots and personalize your treatment. For example: Identifying chronic infections that burden the body with high levels of inflammation or discovering the key nutrient deficiencies that prevent your mitochondria from producing enough energy for you to feel good, think clearly, or carry out everyday metabolic processes properly.

This approach puts you in charge of your health so you can say goodbye to the limitations of annoying and painful health concerns.

Types of Consultation Services

Physician Consultation

Dr. Linda Tao offers physician consultations to explore a vast variety of medical conditions including: cardiovascular disease, Lyme disease, mold toxicity, multiple chemical sensitivities, and other acute and/or chronic conditions. Your treatment plan may involve lab testing with specialty labs, a supplement regimen, and/or nutritional guidance.

Second Opinion Consultation

A second opinion consult with Dr. Tao can provide unique insight into your treatment plan. Dr. Linda Tao may speak with you about conditions related to cardiovascular disease and/or chronic diseases. You may present previous test results for Dr. Tao to consider and further her report. Dr. Tao will not order additional test results during or after the visit, as such tests should be ordered by your primary provider.

I believe that in a world of modern maladies caused by diet, environmental toxins, stress, and other lifestyle factors, the integrative approach to medicine is often the best approach.
