Dr. Clark is an author, basic science and clinical researcher, consultant and advisory board member to leading aesthetic and medical dermatologic manufacturers, frequent contributor to media outlets, and a nationally-renowned trainer and advanced injector with more than 25 years of experience. She studied with Anna Freud at The Hampstead Clinic, was a student at the University of London, and was co-editor of The Journal of Biomedical Engineering in London. She obtained her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, performed a research fellowship in schistosomiasis in Kenya, and completed 4 years of bench research in connective tissue regulation and metabolism and her dermatology residency at Washington University in St. Louis, where she became Chief Resident. She graduated with Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha honors.
